I still think we have a lot of work to do, but guys are getting more comfortable and coming into their own. We have a lot of guys mixing in and out of the offensive line. You're talking basically the fourth center we've had in four games.
It's going (to depend) on his confidence to get up, snap and put it in the right spot time and time again, ... But it's more the confidence and the quickness to learning with your off hand. Try and brush your teeth with your left hand. It's not as easy as it sounds.
Hopefully, they still like me a little bit, ... And maybe they'll cheer for us a little, too.
Hopefully, we can make some moves and get some guys in who can really help us. He (James) would be huge for what we're trying to accomplish.
I don't know if he can read anything. The first receiver better be open, but he can fling it.
I'm sure he feels so much better and so much more confident this year than last, ... I just look forward to catching up with him.
In New York, it was really a chance to showcase what I could do and try to present myself with an opportunity like here in Arizona where I could play the game the way I wanted to and hopefully write my own story,
I've been here a lot of times when I had everybody in here cheering for me and I don't know if I fed off it, but I definitely know I was focused and feeling good.
He's doing great. It was a good conversation, ... I think there will be a lot of conversation before the game. We're still close. We all still love each other. It's going to be weird being on the other side of the football, but it's going to be fun and exciting as well.
That was huge, to get back in that rhythm early, ... That's what really set us apart. We had to get back to that attitude and that mentality and start making those plays early in the game.
They push us every day. When you talk about the front seven that we have, I don't think you're going to find a faster front seven in the league. . . . We've seen them create turnovers over the last couple of weeks because of that speed.
I thought Eli looked poised. It was one of those games where, fortunately for him, he wasn?t called upon to do a whole lot. They had a lot of big runs and he had a couple of screens that were probably his biggest plays. I think the game played out the way they wanted it to. They took the pressure off him, which allowed him to continue to grow and get better.
Guys hang on every word because they just feel the confidence that comes from him: 'This is what we're going to do, this is how we're going to win. They can pretty much take what he says to the bank.
This isn't anything major, just disappointing. Obviously this is going to take the rest of the season, so that's the disappointing part of it. I'm just thankful that it is what it is, that it will not require any surgery, and that it will be a three to four week injury.
