I have come back before from scores like that. I am happy. I decided to give it one last push to at least make a match of it. I kept pushing and trying to be consistent. I had to keep playing. There was no sense giving up at 5-2, especially in the championship match.

That (stamina) was probably the worst thing. Everything was bothering me, the wind and the way he (McNeil) played didn't help.

Usually our doubles teams are (especially) strong. This year all four singles players have stepped up. We're all playing well and that has helped us continue our success.
