I think I played real solid, ... Maybe only two passes I'd like to have back. And that's pretty good when you're playing a full football game. I made good decisions. I thought I got the ball out of my hands quick and really knew the situations I was in.
I haven't proven anything yet. This is preseason football and I think I'm playing pretty well, but we haven't even played Game 1. We'll see what we do in the regular season.
I haven't proved anything yet. I'm playing pretty well, but we haven't even played game one.
I played like crap, ... I had a chance to make plays and didn't do it. The result of that is us losing the game. I didn't make good decisions. You can't play like that, turn the ball over five times, and expect to win. I'm not gonna put this on me being young.
They confused me. They're a solid defense. I'm not going to put this on me being young or anything. I played like crap today.
I'm not going to put this on my being young or anything. I played like crap today, and that's basically what I'm going to put it on.
Muhsin played well and made some plays, ... I thought the other receivers played well and (running back Thomas) Jones played really well. Muhsin is a veteran guy who has been there and played in big games before.
He played well. Moose is that veteran guy that has played in big games before. He's big for our offense.
I thought we did a real good job playing the field position battle. We're still in the lead in the division and now we're going to Detroit.
It got really loud, and they started showing us some different looks, ... We were just trying to call some stuff out there for the line to get the protection right.
I saw the blitz coming. I saw the 1-on-1 over there. I wanted to give Justin a chance, but I just left the ball inside a little too much. It's tough when you know you're only playing a little bit; you try so hard to make something happen.
We came unglued a little bit, ... I tried to call some stuff out at the line and get the situation right.
I'm a lot better player right now than I was when I was 17 years old as a freshman. I've learned a lot more about the game. I'm more prepared.
If I play well and win a lot of games, everybody will compare me and Ben. If I play poorly, I'll be a rookie quarterback playing poorly and there won't be any comparisons.
