Bruce made a good comment. He said: 'We've qualified, and that's great. But let's get better over the next seven months. It doesn't mean you relax. Let's get better as a coaching staff, as a team. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to play for the national team but if I had the chance to be here and focus here then I'd prefer to do that, ... The only way is if (Bruce Arena) absolutely needs me. It's hard to imagine a scenario where that would be the case. If he says 'Look, for this reason or that I need you there,' I'll go. I'd be happy to go. If he really doesn't need me to be there, I'd like to stay.

I think too often we let teams off the hook. When you get fouled, there's a lot of times you can put the ball down and play, and teams are kind of walking back. At this level, it can make a difference.
