As soon as we can put a plan together, we will present it to the Legislature. It won't happen during this session. We need to really look at everything to fix the entire system. We aren't there yet.

We're committed to clearing up those gray areas while making sure safeguards are in place.

We are waiting for the investigation to run its course. It's through the investigation we will get the facts about where things can be improved.

The responsible approach to governing is working well for us and too well for us to start veering off track.

They turned around and backed out and they realized there were two that weren't with them. The rescue crews are trying to determine their location.

They still have some water in the mine. They're still dealing with conditions in the mine and they hope to be in the mine later this week.

There was some type of fire in the deep mine. There are two workers that are currently unaccounted for.

There was some type of explosion either heard or felt by the miners attempting to go in the mine for a shift change. They then backtracked out of the mine.

There was not a grand plan in the beginning. When this all started, we hadn't been there very long.

We've been hopeful that the Legislature would pass a bill that's strong and achievable and responsible and that protects our children. We're very pleased with the work that House Judiciary has done.

Our overall concern is that the proposals the governor put forth remain intact.

Camp Dawson has served its purpose, it was always meant to be a transition place.

If there is a suitable and viable alternative site on state property, we are certainly willing to work with local officials to make that site available.
governor mansion past somewhere state visiting
In the past year, if we did have a visiting governor or an out-of-state guest, the mansion is in such a state that it's somewhere you would not want to take people.
