It's a mixed bag of emotion all the way around. We had some good swims and we had some swims that were a little disappointing. We obviously were hoping to place better, but the competition was absolutely amazing.

In a way, it's kind of classic Derrick. For four years now, he's gone and missed pool records by tenths of seconds, hundreds of seconds. I can't even remember how many times he's been that close to a record and just missed it.

We had some strong swims today. They knew it would be a tough day and they stepped up and swam well.

We're going to need some help. I don't know if we're going to get any help from the Bays. We're pretty far back, kind of on the outside looking in.
