Everyone is playing together and trying to make other guys better. Jalen (Rose) and Steve (Francis) were making the extra pass, which opened the court for everyone.

The way we want to coach and play . . . he exemplifies all of those things, ... I thought with this young team he was vital for us because he's the most mature and the most experienced and really a true professional. I felt it would really help the young guys.

I think he just didn't want to shoot the ball. I thought he'd have 15, 20 assists. It was just one of those nights where maybe he didn't feel like he was on.

You want me to leave him under the bus? Yeah, I saw the play and I saw it on the film. I'm not happy about it. It's not what you . . . you can't expect anybody to do that. But that's over. The worst thing I can do is worry about what happened. We've got to think about what we can do to change and get better.
