Laura Muir is a Scottish/British middle distance runner who specialises in 800m, 1500m, and 3000m races. At the 2013 World Championships in Athletics Muir represented Great Britain in the 800 metres, she reached the semi-finals with a personal best time of 2:00.83. The Rep has long been interested in acquiring a smaller, more intimate theatre in which we could produce smaller shows. Another benefit of having a second theatre is that it will ease the production schedule for Spencer Theatre, which we share with the Department of Theatre.
