We met the players for the first time and for a brief moment two hours before the show. They kept us separate the whole time. We only got to spend an hour with the players. Before we got on set, the show gave us their jerseys. Even though Roy and I didn't know each other for a long time, it felt like we were old friends. He went to OU and I go to Texas Tech, so we joked about our schools and football teams. He joked saying Texas Tech cheated during their game against OU. I joked back saying it was pure skill.

I still have the letter seating on my desk. I was so excited when I got it because I wanted to be on the show for such a long time. It was the first time I tried out for it and I got lucky. I enjoyed the thrill of it all. I was also the youngest contestant on the show during that week.
