change
I think we want to change that this year,
side took upsets
I think it took away a lot of it, especially on the women's side . . . on the men's side, you have some upsets once in a while.
hope matter titles win
It is a milestone, ... I hope I get there. But 48 is still pretty amazing, no matter what happens, and it's been great. I couldn't have guessed that I would win that many titles in my career, so I will try and get the 50.
couple fast games great last match
You always want to get the match over with as fast as you can, ... But I've got to say, she did play some great shots. The last couple of games were really close.
beaten players plays soon top
I still feel like I would have beaten a lot of players today. She's going to be at the top as soon as she plays more and more.
side struggled
I struggled a lot on one side of the court,
compete court definitely exciting force four grand slam three winners
It definitely would make it more exciting if three of the four Grand Slam winners were here. You can't force someone to go out on the court when they don't feel like they want to compete at this level.
control
I thought I was really in control and that's what I wanted to be,
exactly
I'm still not exactly where I want to be. I still feel I can get better and be more consistent.
exactly
I'm still not exactly where I want to be.
played second third
I was just able to eke out the second set, and the third set I just played a lot better and she started to make a lot more unforced errors.
certainly hard knowing playing prepared worked
Knowing that I worked hard and knowing that I'm playing well certainly makes me feel very prepared going into Melbourne.
decide decision hopefully rash ready rest start training year
I would never make a rash decision over one match. I'll decide how much I'll play for the rest of the year and hopefully I'll feel ready to go and start training for Australia,
learn per served
Someone said she served at 125, 126 (miles per hour) here. So I have to learn some more about her.
