annoyed desire felt heart hope played time totally
I hope I have that desire in me when the time comes. I'm annoyed at the moment. At Wimbledon, I played my heart out and totally got beat. Today, I felt like a lot of it had to do with me.
played second third
I was just able to eke out the second set, and the third set I just played a lot better and she started to make a lot more unforced errors.
allowing balls bit broken coming definitely difference felt game great happy harder inside obviously overall played second together
I think the difference in the second set was once I got broken to 2-2 I felt like she played with a little bit more confidence, ... The balls were definitely coming a little bit harder and deeper. She wasn't really allowing me to be inside the baseline as much as I was in the first set. I didn't play a great game to get broken, but overall I got it back together at the end and obviously I'm happy to come out with a victory.
coming expect experience happy held matches matter played test winning
I'm very happy to be here winning the title, ... No matter how much experience or how long you have played you never really know what to expect after coming back from an injury. I really wanted to come in here and kind of test my back and play matches and see how everything held up.
balls bit control errors felt obviously played
I felt like a lot of it had to do with me, ... I just felt like I was making errors on balls I didn't need to make errors on. I was never really in control of points...(I'm) just annoyed. You obviously want to play a little bit better than what I played in a quarterfinal match.

gets happy match played player type
I was happy to get her in the first match because she's the type of player who gets better as tournaments go on. I played well.
expect match played tough wimbledon
Amelie and I played such a tough, tough match at Wimbledon that I expect another one tomorrow,
advantage chips played time
Every time the chips were down for Venus, she played unbelievable, ... I thought I played really well and I thought I had a lot of chances, and I feel like she never let me take advantage of those chances.
consistent control felt night played points second stepped today
I feel like today I played a lot better. The other night I felt like I was just a second or two off in my reactions. Today I felt like I stepped it up a little and was more consistent and was in control of the points more.
awhile felt played worse
I felt like, for awhile there, I couldn't have played much worse - like, it was not good.
ball balls bit consistent either felt hitting match played playing rhythm second top
On the second set, I felt like I was playing well and hitting the ball well, ... First set, I just don't think either of us played all that well. ... But as the match went on, I felt like I was getting much better rhythm and on top of the balls and being a little bit more consistent with my shot.
felt obviously played prefer tennis
I felt I played really well the first set and a half. Obviously that's the kind of tennis I prefer to play.
ability against best definitely knew played tough
It was a really tough match. I knew she definitely had the ability to be dangerous, and that was the best that she's played against me.
