I think a lot of it has to do with the rise in gas prices just from this week. If it's too expensive for them to get here, they're not going to want to pay the 90 or 100 dollars to stay here a night.

What 15-year-old hasn't felt like that at one time or another? With all the evidence, I can't believe they're willing to call this a simple runaway based on one page in her dairy and something a friend said. She was mad because she couldn't go to a winter formal dance with her friends.
