continue hard improve success
Just that success only comes one way -- that's through hard work. Just continue to try to improve on getting better and it'll happen.
cautious
I thought they were going to let me go today, but they are being cautious right now.
given guys matter
It was a matter of opportunity. A lot of guys can do the same thing given the right situation. I don't think it's anything more than that.
good life people rock shut time
Know when to have a good time and when to shut it down and be responsible. This is your job. It's not just a party. I know people think it's the life of a rock star. It has its time.
believing gap integrity
It's consistency. Everybody's maintaining their gap integrity and believing in the system. That's why I think we're doing so well.
competitor far maybe nice playoffs streak
You've got to be a competitor to be in this league, and it's frustrating. Maybe as far as the playoffs go, it doesn't count, but we had a nice little streak going and it's over now.
third
Third downs. That's all I'm going to say.
announced believe coach hear
I didn't hear coach when he announced it. I just couldn't believe it.
cover everybody exploit man throw
He's a quarterback. Everybody sits there and thinks, 'Oh, he's going to run.' He's a quarterback. The man can throw the ball, and if you don't cover that he's going to exploit you.
everybody next ready wants
That's football, ... No one's perfect. You have to be ready to come back on that next play. That's what everybody wants to see.
college ended enjoyed felt football looking next owed step time
It ended up working out that way. I enjoyed my time at Maine, but it wasn't what I was looking for in a college atmosphere, or really a football atmosphere. I just felt I owed it to myself to take that next step and try to keep going.
egg field goose held job
That's what our job is. We wanted that goose egg up there, but we held them to just field goals. It's up to us just to keep getting better every week.
along faces good guys lost luckily replaced season system
We had a lot of new faces on this team, and luckily it didn't take a whole season to come together. It's a system of interchangeable parts. We lost a lot of good guys along the way and just replaced them.
remember
What do I remember about that play? That it was long.
