He's a quarterback. Everybody sits there and thinks, 'Oh, he's going to run.' He's a quarterback. The man can throw the ball, and if you don't cover that he's going to exploit you.
college ended enjoyed felt football looking next owed step time
It ended up working out that way. I enjoyed my time at Maine, but it wasn't what I was looking for in a college atmosphere, or really a football atmosphere. I just felt I owed it to myself to take that next step and try to keep going.

adjusting couple field good guy job late leaked pass picked third
A big thing is to get off the field on third down. A couple times they max-protected and then leaked out a guy late (into pass patterns). They did a good job adjusting on the fly. They picked up some of our blitzes really well.
became division kindness sight transfer
I think it kind of got out of sight by going there. And that's why I wanted to transfer to a Division I team. Then it became a reality.

It's comforting to know that you are not in one of those dictatorships, where you just fall in line. He lets the players know he's there for them.

asks force leadership role trying
I know my place as a rookie, ... I'm doing what my role asks of me and nothing more. I'm not trying to force my way into a leadership role. That's just what comes with the territory.
