It's hard with homework and things like that. I don't really have time to set out and make a schedule. I mainly try to focus when I'm here, but I'm doing good overall.

I had seen the advertisement at the Department of Human Services. I didn't know what Families First was all about. When I went there, in order to get the benefits, you had to go to school, and I never thought about getting my GED or improving myself to go to college. Ever since I came, I've considered that.

They know I'm gonna be graduating. I didn't go to high school, but it makes them understand that the sky's the limit.
