She is probably the best athlete in our conference. Between her athleticism and passion for basketball, it really makes my job easier as a coach. She's a great kid and extremely unselfish player. We had to forcer her to take the ball and go to the basket. If I had her for all four years, she would have hit her 1,000th last year. Growing up on a farm gives you great work ethic; it can really give you a balanced upbringing.
I think it was a relief that we went to the finals last year, didn't win, but did this year. We didn't have the mental edge going into that game (with Salem).
We really don't know who we're going to play (in the state tournament).
