Hopefully, it'll pay off this year and hopefully next year, too. We've got some juniors out there who need to be in those close games. We need to learn how to finish them. Every one of these (close games) is a learning experience for all of us, myself included.

Lake Park just beat us tonight. They've got a lot of weapons and they're playing really well right now.

I'm proud of the way we've been playing, but when you've got to make some of those changes, you can tell it throws us off. It's like a well-oiled machine that's pumping, pumping and then it goes GHHHH and it stops. That's what we feel like.

I'm not complaining about the calls, but boy, it sure did seem like it was rough on our end (of the court).

In hindsight, that regional championship made a lot of those losses easier to stomach. I was happy with how we progressed, and I'm excited about who is coming back and what we have coming up (from the lower levels).

That's why she's up there. When she's got her arms and hands outstretched, that's an intimidating defensive player there.

We were not reacting quickly enough to what they were doing on offense. Katie isn't used to coming out to guard the perimeter, but that's what we were giving them tonight.
