Lovie Lee Smithis the head football coach at the University of Illinois. He was previously the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2004 to 2012, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2014 to 2015. Smith has been to the Super Bowl twice, as the defensive coordinator for the 2001 St. Louis Rams and as the head coach for the Bears in 2006...

Carolina wanted it more than we did. Twenty-one points, normally through the course of the year that would have been enough for us. Defensively going in, we talked about not giving up the big play. We were not able to do that.

Cedric is next in the rotation, but I was pleased with what Adrian Peterson did. He's a good running back.

I think they definitely should shop him and get him out of the division. I don't know if that is the case or not. I just know he's an excellent football player. He's caused us to stay up quite a bit trying to defend him.

It's important to have your leader there, just like having a defensive leader or having a coaching staff in place for a while. All of these things add up.

I thought he was in control of the game, managed it well, ... He led us. He made the right reads and made good throws. He did what quarterbacks are supposed to do.
