fought given patient stayed
We could have given in there and quit. For a long time, we couldn't find our rhythm, but we stayed patient and fought back.

against class emotion emotions fire fourth leaders leadership quarter senior shown year
We're going to need them to play with the same kind of fire and emotion against Carrollton that they did in the fourth quarter against Elbert. They have been leaders all year. This senior class has shown a lot of leadership all year and we're going to need it.
proud second shot win
We're proud of our players. We outplayed them in the second half, and we had a shot to win it.
good together
If we can put together another good summer, we could have another good team.
allow assignment duplicate execute final fourth front guards happen holding job johnson last nice quarter road took tough year
We did a nice job of holding down their two guards out front but then we didn't execute very well in the fourth quarter and they took over the game. We can't allow that to happen again. It's going to be a tough assignment but this is the same road that Johnson took to the Final Four last year and we would like to duplicate that.
defend dribble johnson quick speed
Even Johnson doesn't defend like that. They're just so quick and they can defend off the dribble so well. They used their speed and got in our faces.
contain hard job second strong
(East Hall) is so strong it's hard to contain them. But I thought we did a much better job in the second half.

She's never missed a game due to injury. When she was a sophomore, she broke her (right) wrist. So she just learned how to shoot with her left hand.
game heck needed offense played stepped team
Erin played a heck of a game and stepped up when we needed her. We just couldn't get enough going on offense as a team , though.
