bad definitely worse
I definitely made a bad throw, and things definitely got worse as the play went on.
college high might nfl running school work
It might work in high school and sometimes in college, but in the NFL you've got to have a running game.
ready
Everybody's pretty solid, everybody's pretty healthy, and we're ready to roll.
atlanta bad beating game good playoffs took wear
It wasn't too bad in the playoffs because the cortisone was working, but that started to wear off, ... And after the Atlanta (playoff) game - I took a pretty good beating down there.
gave sort spark turned
It was sort of a wakeup call. It gave us a little spark that we didn't have. I can't say how much that turned the game.
bad ground happened hit throw top
It started off with a bad throw and it got worse. I was getting blocked, I got hit, and nothing happened there, and then I think once I hit the ground is when it happened. I'll have to see the replay. I don't if once he jumped on top of me that's when it happened, but it wasn't the hit, it was the ground.
early face final hit issue mask playing regular
It just got hit with a face mask early in the first half, ... It's not even an issue during the regular season, but probably contributed to me not playing in the final (exhibition) game.
apparent coach happened job last month team
It was pretty apparent the last month or two that this day was going to come. I think it's better for Coach Martz and for the organization that it happened quicker, for him to find another job and for the team to find a replacement.
next week
So at the worst-case scenario, it'll be this week and next week.
proving-yourself playoffs prove
Whether it's in the playoffs or not, you have to keep proving yourself.
balls stuck
It's very rare that you just get stuck with the ball. You're going to get somebody open.
basketball baseball football
For a long time, I was more involved in basketball, baseball and golf. My parents didn't push me into football when I was a little kid, but they coaxed me into trying it as a 10th grader.
jobs knows
When you're battling for a job, you know that every day you've got to perform.
able
I was always able to throw-it's not something I consciously worked on.
