I kind of wasn't really expecting it (the award) before the game or even after the game. It's a pretty big honor.

I think I bring solid defensive play. I want to get on the ice, keep it simple and make sure they don't bring any chances.

I think I had a pretty good season, I improved a lot over the year. It's a pretty big jump from juniors to the NHL, especially now that it's winding down and every game is important. It'll be interesting if I get dressed for a game or two, a little nerve-racking.
guys ice individual plays prepare relaxed sure
We didn't prepare the way we should have. It's more individual preparation, what guys need to do on the ice and not getting too relaxed out there and making sure you make the right plays when you have to.
