ahead fit fits future great hate kyle lose moves personal piece puzzle team
From a personal standpoint, I hate to lose Roman; he's got a great future ahead of him. From a team standpoint, we need to make moves that can fit in like a piece in a puzzle. Kyle Farnsworth fits in a little better into our puzzle right now.
bringing finally home knowing matter took
It took a while, but she's finally got it now. I wouldn't be down here if she weren't out of the woods. It wasn't so much bringing her home as it was a matter of knowing she was going to come home.
pitch throws
Pedro throws a lot like Livan (Hernandez). He'll throw off-speed on any pitch in the count. He pitched great. We couldn't do anything.
either missing tired week
It's either that or don't play for another week or two. I'm tired of missing time. It's brutal.
fortunate good hits kept overall single team
Two-out hits are always good. Furcal kept the inning going with the single up the middle. I was fortunate to hit one. It was a good overall team win.
lose loss spoils takes team win
When you lose a game, it spoils everything. It takes all of us to win a game, that's obvious. It's a team game. The loss overshadows anything personal.
high-standards standards
You've got to set high standards for yourself.
size prove-them-wrong harder
I've heard about my size all my life. It makes you work that much harder. It's gratifying to prove them wrong.
pressure
Pressure is only what you make of it and what you put on yourself.
halloween way not-worth-it
It's not worth it. We're going all the way to Halloween. You can get him then.
halloween way lasts
The last few weeks we had been playing poorly, but hopefully we can ride this all the way through Halloween.
few good hands hurt last sit weeks
We used to sit on our hands in the last few weeks and just try not to get hurt. This is good for us.
board crooked gets half held imperative momentum next number quick seemed shift team throw
When a team comes out and gets a little momentum like that, I think it's very imperative to come out and throw a crooked number up on the board the next half inning. It's a quick momentum shift back to our side. Once we got that shift, it just seemed like we held it from there.
almost clubhouse fun game intensity league playing
With these young guys, we have the intensity we need. It's almost like we're 10 years old playing in Little League again, but winning's more important now. It's just a lot of fun in the clubhouse now before the game and after the game.
