If I think backward, I'm going to go backward.
That kind of hurts me. Maurice and Lawrence were definitely guys who had a bad past. They're not even in the league anymore. But I'm a hard worker. I'm going to keep on fighting through my ups and downs. That's the difference between me and them.
It was great. It was everything I expected. We could have done a little more on offense to help ourselves, but N.C. State is a great team and they were bringing the dogs.
Things happened. There was a chance. I didn't want to go that far from home.
I want to show the world I'm not the person some people make me out to be.
It seems they put all their confidence into their cornerbacks, so we're really going to see how good they are,

To me, this is probably one of the greatest opportunities that you could ever think about, ... I believe everybody that plays football has a dream of playing on Sunday nights, and what better chance could you have than to open up against the defending ACC champs on Sunday with national TV.
I always wanted to be the opposite of Mike. I never wanted to be on the same team. I'm always trying to get a shot at him. I want to beat him. You always want to beat your older brother. I'm looking forward to that.
It definitely was embarrassing because that's not our style of play. We came out here and did the same thing in the (Atlantic Coast Conference) championship game. No teams can win with penalties. I don't care what team you are. So, yeah, it's embarrassing.
Beamer said. ''They're winning kids. They're humble kids. They've got a lot of ability. You like being around them. They're in control on the field. That's about everything you like out of a quarterback.
