agent call came finally found glad last paid wire
I really found out last night. During the day yesterday, I got a call from my agent and he was just like, you know, we need to talk. He finally told me, you're going to be the guy. It came down to the wire but I'm just glad it paid off and I'm so glad to be a Texan.
face fact family great leaving
I really have to face the fact that I'm leaving a great family here. I'm going to be in the real world now.
I'm 300 pounds. If I fall on anybody, it's going to hurt.
believe below defensive premium rare rated true
I believe, especially now, defensive end is a premium position. It's rare to find someone that is a true defensive end that could actually get after the quarterback and make plays. I believe defensive end is rated right below quarterback.
came chip
I came from behind. I'm an underdog, basically. There's kind of a chip on my shoulder.
compared great honor somebody
It's actually an honor. He's a great player. Just to be compared to somebody like that, I take that very highly. I'm thankful.
giving great people shut
It was phenomenal. At 2-4, people were writing us off. They were giving up hope. But to come out like this and to shut them out, it's a great feeling.
avoid chop fine hope knees running trying
You've got to be careful of guys trying to chop-block you. You know, running backs, the receivers. You've got to just hope that your knees are fine and you can avoid those chop blocks.
game quarter
That was a long quarter. I've never been in a quarter like that. It was a really long game.
coming fit goal main teams versatile
I can do whatever. I can play the 3-4. I can play the 4-3. If you want me back at linebacker I can do that coming off the edge. My main goal coming into this was to be versatile and let the teams put me where they want to. It's all about the team, put me where I fit in.
against bowl came game good job last offensive south
Getting that shutout was just great. Especially after not going to a bowl game last year, we came to play for the seniors. We were able to do a really good job against South Florida's offensive line.
I don't have an ego; I'm not egotistical or anything like that.
You can never, ever worry about making mistakes or things like that. I'm going to go out and play ball, and that's what I do.
came good inspire kids lead meet model role staying
My brother, Michael, was my role model when it came to staying fit. Sometimes I meet kids who do not have a role model and I want to be someone who can inspire them and lead them to do good things.
