It's tough for anyone to be on the sidelines, but it would be especially tough now.
break calls felt games
These things even out, they really do, and sometimes you get a break. I felt like we got a break with Sellers that week, I really do. There's going to be games where you don't get the calls that you want.

I just think when you make a mistake, you take responsibility. That's the job of every quarterback and everybody else in the locker room. You learn from it and move on.

There's some things that have changed. There's some things that have stayed the same. But I think we're a better offense. We have a year under our belt with this system.

The basics start with playing smart football, not turning it over and also running the football and playing solid defense. That's how you win. We've been doing those things. The first part of the year we weren't.

It would be my hope that we could keep this group intact, which is difficult to do these days. I think we have guys with great character, work ethic, attitude; all the things that you'd want.

I dropped back a little bit and I was able to plant and throw, so that's good. I feel better.
close difficult disservice game last move team thinking
If you play long enough in this league, you're going to have some real close ones, difficult ones to overcome, but you've got to move on. If you don't, you're doing your team a disservice by thinking about the last game and not about the upcoming game.
guy lacking
You can't say enough about him. He's a big-play guy - something that we've been lacking for a while. He's a go-to guy.
fortunate
