Mississippi State played about a flawless game, from my perspective.

I wish we would have played the same schedule and won a few more. I don't want to play a soft schedule and the kids don't, either. I want to play a national schedule that gets them exposure. It's going to make our team better.

I think we're playing a team who is playing as well as they've played all year long. They beat Florida twice, and they beat Mississippi State pretty bad.

They had some guys do some things tonight they hadn't done. That's probably because we played so bad defensively.

They made every shot they needed to even if the shot clock was running down, hitting tough ones. They really played about a flawless game from my perspective.

Look at their team and the personnel they have. I think everybody in this league would all agree Arkansas is good enough to handle everybody in this league. They played terrific in Tuscaloosa. We were fortunate enough to win.

In the time outs, there was a ton of determination in those guys. That comes from being burned once or twice.

Ron Steele was real aggressive. He penetrated a lot in the first half. That was big for us.

Chuck will still lead this team even though he'll be on the sidelines. Winning always gives you a lot of confidence. We are going to start today and we are not going to roll over. We are not going to make excuses, pout and whine. We are going to buckle down, be positive with one another and play.

I think it gave him some confidence and he got to see where he stacked up. He had a great year this year, and he's improved every year he's been here.

I think teams have done a good job of defending him a little better. And he's not Superman. He's human. He's going to struggle from time to time. That's just part of it. He'll be fine.
