We've shortened our practices. We don't really do anything to prevent injury, except doing minimal contact drills, but other than that we're just trying to be smart about how we go about practice.
country front line teams
LSU is one of the better teams in the country. Their front line is tremendous.

The difference tonight was the defense in the first 15 minutes of the second half. I thought Auburn kept us off balance in the first half with the 1-3-1 zone. We weren't taking good shots. We didn't do a good job getting the ball around the basket. We didn't do a lot of things well.
chuck great player players
Chuck is a great player for us. But we have some other players that are great for us too.

In the time outs, there was a ton of determination in those guys. That comes from being burned once or twice.

Chuck will still lead this team even though he'll be on the sidelines. Winning always gives you a lot of confidence. We are going to start today and we are not going to roll over. We are not going to make excuses, pout and whine. We are going to buckle down, be positive with one another and play.

I think it gave him some confidence and he got to see where he stacked up. He had a great year this year, and he's improved every year he's been here.

I think teams have done a good job of defending him a little better. And he's not Superman. He's human. He's going to struggle from time to time. That's just part of it. He'll be fine.

Alabama needs to be a team that continues to play well. I've sat on every different side of this thing, guys. Until Sunday night when they call your name, nothing's for sure.
gave great lift somebody
I thought Alonzo gave us great energy, great lift off the bench. He did a lot of things well tonight. Sometimes on those 'Senior Nights,' somebody else always emerges. Tonight, it was Alonzo.
