became dad enjoyed finished hang money starting work workshop
I used to hang out in my dad's workshop on weekends. Later, when I was starting out as an actor, I became a roofer and a framer to make money. But what I really enjoyed was the finished work. I like the longevity.
bonded competing competition easy five kids practice
We have a lot more competition in practice this year. They have bonded real well. That's easy for you or me to say, but it's not always easy for kids competing for the same position. The way we have approached it is that we have five move-ins ... let's get to work.

We're going to evaluate him on a daily basis. The earliest he could be back (for a game) would be Friday.
almost attracted characters frightened likely realise taking
I'm not likely to be attracted to characters I've already done. I have to be almost frightened by the possibility of taking it on. Over the years, I realise I must enjoy walking that edge; I keep doing it.

acting classes early great hope people saw someday work

bob good liked man met nice second singer third time worked
'Let's Get Harry' was where I met Bob Singer and worked with him for the first time, and then 'Reasonable Doubts' was the second time, and there was a thing after that called 'Charlie Grace' that was the third time. I liked working with Bob. A nice man and a good partner.
disgrace gave maximum
I was raised with the idea of maximum effort: as long as you could look in the mirror and say, 'I gave it everything I had,' it was OK. But if you gave it less, that would disgrace you.
call gets sheet trailer work
I don't care who's No. 1 on the call sheet or how big my trailer is. I care about the work. I don't care who gets the laughs. I just care that the laugh comes.
I'm not a big 'me' guy. I'm a 'we' guy. It's the way I was raised.
attracted business likely
I'm in the business to push it. I'm not likely to be attracted to characters I've already done.
choice people perceive regret successful time
I don't have regret about things I've done that are successful or not successful or what people perceive or don't know or whatever. I just know for me it had to be the right choice at the time. Sometimes that choice is just about getting a job.
coal hard lose lovely perspective talk
But at the same time, it is a lovely place to work. I never lose perspective. You want to talk about hard work, let's talk about working in a coal mine.
dinner guy hope wanna
McNeil and I are very different people. McNeil is the guy you hope does your surgery, but not the kind of guy you wanna have dinner with.
