That's not good enough. We charted out 47 passes and 25 runs per game last season. We need to increase the number of carries per game. We need to get better than a 4-yard average.

The thing about linemen is they got to be athletes - you don't want the big fat guys that can't move. We have guys with good feet, and that's what you want.

I had a little heart-to-heart with him, and I think the light bulb finally came on. He got a little frustrated. He was having trouble with his footwork.

I should have done it earlier. But we needed more help at that other side. For whatever reason, he was just smoother and simpler, whereas on the right side, he struggled. Some guys, I guess, are like that.
