kids last since valley
The kids have really wrestled well the last two weeks; there's nothing more you can say. Ever since the (Mississippi Valley Conference) tournament, we've put it all together.

It wasn't our best performance. We lost the other two (championship) matches to kids we had beaten before, and that's not something you like to see at this time of the year. Hopefully we can rebound from that.

The table was set for us to come in and do that. We just had to come out and put it all together.

Obviously we're in pretty good position. Sure, it's not over. I hope finally we can put it all together (today) and get it done.

Didn't have to. I think they understood where we were going into that last round.
control easier prefer worry
Obviously, you've got a little more control when you're an athlete. It was a little easier then, all I had to do was go out and wrestle. Here, you've got to worry about 14 guys. I think it's a little more nerve-wracking as a coach. I would prefer to be the athlete.
couple great guys meet time
It wasn't a great meet by us by any means. But it was the first time for a couple guys out on the mat.
anybody biggest care control expect favors hard
The biggest thing is we went out and wrestled hard and competed. We're probably in control of our own destiny, but we've just got to wrestle. We've got to take care of our job. We can't expect any favors from anybody else.
good indicative knew situation sure
He knew what the situation was going in and he really didn't want to make a mistake. I think he kind of wrestled that way. I don't think it's very indicative of how good he is. I think he was just making sure he got the win.
season
I don't think we wrestled particularly well in most cases. We've got some re-evaluating to do. It's not the end of the season yet.
pick win won
Obviously, we won the right one. We wanted to win both, but if we had to pick one, this would be the one we'd pick.
coming explain found kids margin nine seven teams
When you only have seven kids coming in and a lot of these other teams had nine or 10, you don't have a lot of margin for error. I can't explain it right now. They've found a way to focus, they know what they're doing, and it's full-speed ahead.
hole last stepped wins
We didn't want to be in a hole in the last round, but we really stepped up in a lot of places. Those are pretty big wins for those three.
kids
We did what we had to do. The kids wrestled hard.
