Marshall Strickland
Marshall Stricklandis an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Indiana University for four years from 2002 to 2006. He is originally from Kingston, Massachusetts and went to Winchendon Prep in Winchendon before transferring to South Carroll High School in Carroll County, Maryland. He is 6 ft 2 intall and weighs 195 pounds. He is the son of Marshall and Joanna Strickland, and younger brother of former Maryland Terrapins star Marche Strickland...

I've been with coach four years and he's helped me grow up. I came here, I'm fresh out of high school, he tested me and brought great things in me.

I think we're getting better every day. That's our goal, to keep improving and to have fun the rest of the season.

I think with the wins that we had early in the season, if we can just prove that we're a team that hasn't given up and a team that is still fighting, with 17 wins, I think we get in.

Coach Marsh has really been on us a lot the last couple of weeks. That's carried over to the games.

I would hope (we're in), but hey, you never know until Selection Sunday. Our goal is to win this tournament. We'll worry about the next one when it comes.

I figured I was going to keep going at them, keep being aggressive. They beat us up underneath the basket ... and we were just trying to fight them. I think we won the battle tonight.

It will be a nice accomplishment to have when I reach 1,000 career points. I am not sure where I am at right now, but I am just going to keep playing hard and try to help this team win.
coach game guys leading month seemed since together walking
The month leading up to coach resigning, it just seemed like we were walking into every game down 15 points. Ever since then, guys have come together and we just feel like we can win. It's just a completely different attitude, but it's something that all of the guys are feeling.
feeling felt pounds running
There was no acting. I'm feeling it now. I felt all 260 pounds running over me out there.
fun grown team within
As a team we've grown closer. We're having fun together. We're having fun within the game. That's important at this point.

I was shooting with confidence. I felt good.

I was shooting with confidence. I felt good. All the shots, even the ones I missed, I felt like they were going down. When I get like that, I just feel like it's flowing for me.
