We're going to miss him in these last 10 games. I think Jason had a great year for us. That's sports, you can never tell what is going to happen. I think all teams go through injuries in the season, but it is not why we are where we are in the standings.
You never know in a tournament like this. The margin is so close.
Not as long as I have Gary (Roberts) standing next to me.
I learned to respect Daniel over the years. He's a fine player.
I think we knew with even 25 games to go that it would be dog race to the end. Obviously we have two big games in Montreal, but we have to try and keep winning until the end.
That's exactly what you try to do on the power play - put the puck on the net.
It's healthy for the league, having these young, exciting players coming in. As long as you are the winning side, like we are tonight, I don't mind him scoring a couple of goals.
I think we made some great additions to our roster. Obviously, you like to see the guys that we added healthy. But I like the way our roster looks.
It is almost must-win for us in this stretch because we're going to need them. We're going to be on the road a lot in January (nine out of 13 games) and play a lot of teams above .500. We'll need this stretch as a foundation to play the teams at the top of the league.
I think if they keep going like that for a few months there won't be 10 or 11 (penalties) a side. If they're just consistent and make sure they call the penalties, it's going to sink in.
It means a lot to Swedish hockey. I think this generation of players, we are getting older, and this is probably our last chance, so it's great.
It was nice to have the feel of the ice and the stick in my hands.
Even though he hadn't scored in a while, he's been playing gritty and working hard.
