Had I been a first-round pick -- which never would have happened -- and they made me play, I wouldn't have done any good. I would have been bad. So I wasn't ready. So it's kind of a blessing in disguise for me.
My teammates and I have just seen a glimpse of what it would be like to win a world championship. And as hard as it is right now -- 'cause it's hard right now -- we know what needs to happen to get it done, and I can promise you that we are all going to do everything we can do to get it done next year. It is good to know that he is heading in the right direction, and we can focus on what we need to focus on.
It was one of those, 'Please get out of bounds. Please get out of bounds,'
He had it in his head the way things should be done, and if they weren't done that way, he wasn't going to stand for it.
Some of us Seahawks feel that we let the NFC down this past week. So we've got to step it up a little bit. We owe these guys.
Not to be disrespectful, but we expected to win this game.
