Matt Jones
Former NFL wide receiver who was drafted in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars after playing quarterback at the University of Arkansas. He retired from football in 2010 following poor production and a string of drug-related arrests.

I didn't know what would happen. I knew the starters weren't going to play much, so I figured I would play a lot. I thought anything could happen when we got down near the goal line, maybe throw one up, and we did. I was happy everything worked out.

It means a lot. I'm starting to get letters from Arkansas and Coach Nutt is up here. Arkansas, Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Indiana are schools I'm interested in. Most of my films are at free safety, but I plan to go to camp at Arkansas to show them I can play linebacker.

Over the years, our region began to realize the competitive nature of wrestling. Now, I think our region is one of the top two in the state. We're coming along very, very well.
