Going in we wanted to solidify each position on our team. We feel like we have done that with these guys. We added athletic ability, talent and size - areas we needed to address. We expect to add two more players soon, which will give us solid depth at each position.

Gallo is a front-court player who can play inside and out. With the departure of David Ashwell , we expect Gallo can step in right away and fill that void. He is a very charismatic person. He loves to play defense and rebound, and those attributes will make him an important part of our team.

I thought the key to the game was when they got that offensive rebound. That pushed them to double figures. You give them momentum, you give them confidence.

We are very pleased with this class of players. Each fills an important need for our team, and all three are very talented. Most importantly, they will be tremendous additions to our university.

We're basically a young team with him out. We can go to a bigger lineup when he's in the game and do some different things.
