beat played smart supposed
Give them credit, they played hard, and we didn't play smart enough. A lot of times they beat us to the ball. That's not supposed to happen.
dumb errors giving mental open somebody
We make a lot of dumb mistakes. Just mental errors down the stretch. Turnovers. Just mental lapses that come back and get us. ... Giving somebody an open 3-pointer. Not being in the right place on a play.
destroy
We've been through things like this before. We're not going to let this destroy our whole season.
fear final four hard last matter playing schedule together
We've been through a lot together these last three, four years. Just playing the schedule we've played, right now, we really don't fear nobody. The seeding doesn't matter as much to us. We just want to go out there and play hard and try to get back to that Final Four.
fear four past three together
We've been through a lot together the past three or four years. We don't fear anybody.
felt game help paul sat time
I felt I had to do something like that. I sat out for a long time and had to make up for it somehow. I had to take over the game and help Paul out.
care directly lead playing
I don't care who you're playing ? they lead directly to baskets.
hear involved looked saw
I couldn't really hear him at the end because I was so involved in the game. But when I looked up, I saw him and when I could hear him, I listened.
looks talk
We always know where each other are at. I like to run, and he looks for me. We always talk to each other.
excuse tired yes
Yes we can. We've got to do something. Tired is no excuse.
helped job
We did a better job not fouling, not hand-checking. I think it helped a lot.
beating confidence race ranked road team ten win
Beating a ranked team at their crib, that's huge. For this Big Ten race, that's something that we need. As a team, we have confidence we can win on the road now. It's huge. That's all I can say.
ball easy level paul points turned
Me and Paul (Davis) and Shannon (Brown) have to play at another whole different level to where we can make up for the youngsters. (Tennessee Tech) got a lot of second-chance points (in the first half). We turned the ball over too much and they got a lot of easy baskets.
college last leave position team ups
Last year, we had a lot of ups and downs. But as a team we rallied together. It just put us in a position where we see what we can do. I don't want to leave college without a ring.
