Our conference, the title is anybody's. There's no powerhouse. Anybody can win on any given night in our conference this year. That makes it fun and exciting --and crazy.

They are a tremendous 3-point shooting team. We're going to have to really step up that outside pressure and make sure we always have our hands up to defend that three.

They're young and inexperienced. We had to fight those battles early on. We're still fighting those battles, but they're starting to jell and figure it out. With every game, we're getting better.
bad beaten break excited given good semester taste win
With our semester break, we were off a little too long. But we had beaten Xavier. It was a good win to go into the break with. We didn't have a bad taste in our mouth. They were excited to come back, and I think it's given us some momentum.
emily people positions step various
We're very well-rounded in scoring. Emily is the go-to person inside, but we've had different people step up at the other positions in various games. That makes us challenging to guard.
defensive earlier early mesh preaching starting stepped together year
We have completely stepped up our defensive level. We're much better than what we were earlier in the season. It's kind of what I've been preaching all year long. We're starting to mesh and play together a lot more than we were early in the season.
