He ran a little faster than we planned. The goal next meet is to really come back and go after it. When he gets back (to full strength) he'll improve our team. No doubt about it.

Kilimanjaro is not very technical and doesn't require any ropes. It's just the elevation that's the issue.

They were that strong and amazing. They could carry up to 55 pounds on their heads. We were absolutely pampered.

We had phenomenal performances. Our top three boys and girls performances were way above expectations. I don't know what to attribute it to, I'm just really pleased. The kids are doing a fantastic job, and they came ready to compete.

You have to give their girls credit. I was kind of disappointed with our girls, seeing how they finished, but most of their times actually compared favorably with the last time they ran the course.
