It's kind of an enter at your own risk deal. The ice, it's like a living thing, it's always changing. You just never know if there's an underground spring, jetty, brush pile...they all absorb the heat so the (ice) melts faster.

Just the fact that you're on land, and you know there's somebody out there and you can't do anything.

If we'd have been sitting in he office, we'd have never known that they went down. I'm just glad we were working where we were.
