Damned if I know. This is the same Melinda Raisch who, in 1982 was certain that two black men did this, then in 2001 said she didn't know who did it, and now that she's locked up and facing life in prison is apparently ready to change her mind again.

mind stigma
If they're acquitted, (in the mind of the public) they were not innocent, they got off. The stigma will always be there. (Either way this goes), they're losers. They will never be able to get back to where they were.
