Everything is going our way at the moment. I think we're playing the best tennis of our careers and we're going to try to keep riding the wave. We made the final here in 2003 and it would be great to win the title this time around.
We didn't want to lose all the Slams. It's more kind of a relief. But to do it here at the U.S. Open, it's worth giving up five in a row.
We didn't want to go down as one of the only teams to lose all four slams.
My mom fed us a million balls. Dad took us to tournaments. Couldn't have done it without them. We had a happy tennis family.
I want to feel better. My wife says she likes me not drinking, not so many highs, so many lows, I don't lose temper, I'm more patient.
That (second) set point was on our minds. It was kind of a match point for us because we're pretty good frontrunners,
The Furniture Market has a big economic impact for Tupelo and Lee County and all of Northeast Mississippi, ... It creates jobs, creates tax revenues. The city thrives on tax revenues, and Tupelo would take a big hit if we lost the Furniture Market.
You've got to be clutch. The fans are getting behind it.
It hurts. It doesn't feel good to let your team down when you are staring down the barrel of giving yourself a two-set lead.
It keeps 90 percent of it out. This is fun.
We knew if we got to the finals enough times, we'd eventually crack it loose. I thought we played one of our best matches of the year, maybe of our career. We went out there and just went for it and just let everything go. Didn't worry about winning or losing, stayed in the moment and it happened, which feels pretty good.
It feels good to get this notch, the last two years we came up short. There's nothing more special than to win with your brother.
Our backs are against the wall right now. If we don't unite, there might not be a game of doubles.
