I had a pretty good idea at the abilities of all of these guys at the beginning of the season. But, if there was one player who?s been a surprise, I would have to say that?s been Zach Brooks (senior). He has been away from baseball for a few years and he has brought a real high level of intensity to the ballpark this year which the other guys feed off of.

He has been instrumental in a lot of peoples? lives - coaching, teaching and being a friend. That?s what he?s always done in his 31 years. His players walk out the door, and they?re not gone. They?re always in contact with him, and he?s always in contact with them.
