came care catch everybody games goal gone great guys kinds left reality road telling tough trip
I told our guys that we had a great road trip and that everybody is telling you how great you are. The reality is, we have 35 games left and we have to take care of business. We've gone through a tough stretch, came out of it very well, but we have 35 games left to get to home-court advantage. We've got 35 games left to catch Phoenix. There are all kinds of things out there left for us to do. Right now, our goal shouldn't be to make the playoffs. Our goal should be to get home-court advantage.
continue explosive game good great outside shooting year
He's had a great year. His all-around game has improved. Offensively, he's got the low-post game. He's very explosive off the dribble. He's a good finisher. I think his outside shooting is getting better all the time. . . . He's so young, he'll continue to get better and better each year (in the playoffs) with experience.
closer extremely game good hard played score
The game was a lot closer than the score indicates. They played extremely hard and had a good showing.
ball built felt game shortcuts taking
It was a game we felt we had to have. We built up a big lead, and then we let them back in the ball game. We started taking shortcuts in our execution. We had too many turnovers.
both defense dictated ends great job offense
Defensively, we really showed up tonight. We did a great job at both ends of the floor. Our offense dictated our defense, and our defense was very solid.
extremely game high level playing win
I'd like to win every game left. If we do that, we'll be playing at an extremely high level going into the playoffs.
against both certain change games great guy looking match opportunity stroke
I think it's a great opportunity for both players. We were looking for another dimension, a guy who could go out and stroke the ball. And this will give us an opportunity to play a different style, or change it up in certain games and match up better against certain teams.
cold hit obviously shots spell team tough win
They're a team that could win it all. Obviously they have to be in one of their rolls. As long as they're making their shots and don't hit any real cold spell they're tough - they're a monster.
biggest brand elton time upsets
Elton Brand is a lock. It would be one of the biggest upsets of all time if he didn't make it.
coaching great knew staff
Our coaching staff did do a great job. We knew that play was coming.
line people
It's not even a question. If he's not an All-Star they better line people up for some kind of testing. He's got all of the requirements.
ready
I was getting ready to take him out anyway.
anyone bobby brought fourth great guarded jackson job
Q was terrific. We brought him back in and he guarded Bobby Jackson in the fourth quarter. He did a great job on anyone he was on.
defensive efforts great tremendous
It was a great two-game sweep. We got two tremendous defensive efforts from our guys.
