When we started lighting up the house, everyone started doing it. It just went a little further and further every year. It's kind of contagious. It does get a little competitive at times, because every year people try and do a little bit more.

We always light up the house. We always had contests there every year. When we moved here, we decided to continue the tradition. We lit up the house, and before we knew it, all the neighbors were doing it, too.
