I had trouble getting my emotions together all through the day. He's been like a father figure to me. He convinced me to come here. He showed me how to handle the college life, and we still keep in touch today. It was different seeing him on the opposite end, but it was good seeing his face again.

It's a great shame to have let it go as long as it did, the decision should have been much earlier.

We haven't really sat down as a team or individually and said, 'What are we going to do now that Pops is gone?'? Throughout the entire season, it's what are we going to do as team, how are we going to play team defense? It's never been about an individual player. It sounds funny to say. People say it all the time, but that is really how we are.

We were informed by the corporation that the 360 Next Generation Project was being studied and may not be built.
freshman game gotten sophomore
We're an experienced team. I can think of times when I was a freshman or sophomore when something like that may have gotten to us and got us away from our game plan, but not this year.
attention basketball capable fan influences outside pay playing successful team type work
We don't really pay any attention to the outside influences and opinions. We know what type of basketball team we are, what we're capable of and what we need to work on good. We're not playing to be the fan favorite. We're playing to be successful in March.
