driving field game leagues plays runs
The big leagues to me this game is no different than a Double-A, Triple-A game. We still have to play the game the right way, and it's making plays on the field and driving in runs when you get the chance.
double fills home line looks next short
It's a lot of home runs, I think, in a short time. And it looks like a lot more than nine. It's double digits. That makes it special. It fills up the line next to your name.
guy obviously pennant problem wait
Doug's been here all year, so obviously he's the guy that's going to play, especially being in a pennant race, ... I'm a young guy and I still have to wait for my turn. But I have no problem with that.
puts start three
It was a big boost. When you start off with three runs, it puts them on the defensive.
awesome great hanging helping pumped team waiting
I don't know how you look at it, ... It's just awesome that it happened. It was great for me, I was pumped I was helping the team out, and then - that's it. Now I'm just hanging out waiting to help.
bottom excited game line win
You get a little more excited for a game like this and when you do well it makes you feel good. But the bottom line is we didn't win the game and that's what we're here to do and not make one person feel good.
guys night ready
With all the things I've been able to do up here so far, to be able to do that, it's awesome. It was a long night ...and I think the guys were ready to get out of here.
ownership period quite wait
We're in for a period of uncertainty as we wait for new ownership to emerge, I really don't feel unwanted. I think there's going to be quite a lot of interest.
help
With me being new to the position, he can help show me a lot of different stuff. That's right up my alley.
games job trying win
We've still got games to play and we still have the job of going out trying to win games.
