I think we're starting to peak at the right time.
hard punched ready
I think we punched back so hard that I don't know if they were ready for that.

We've got one more coming up. Maybe it'll be even better.

My shot is probably the thing that's improved the most.

With so much personal history attached to the site, assuring that the property went to a good home and a good use was of utmost importance to Bill Sears.
afraid cut match physical shy team wind work
We can't shy away from the physical part of the game. Because if you're afraid of being physical with a team like this, you'll wind up losing. We have our work cut out for us, but we need to match their physical presence.
gave mouth punched
We never gave up. They punched us in the mouth in the first half. We punched them back.
course game half happens hit last learn matter playing punched second stopped
You learn that no matter what happens in the course of a game, getting hit in the mouth, punched in the face, no matter what happens you have to keep playing. falling force kept shoot
We were able to shoot our way out of it and force them back into man. They were just falling so I kept shooting.
nice whenever

He tore the back of my jersey in the first half and I'm looking at the ref like, 'Did you see that?' And he's just like, 'What?' But you are on the road and you've got to play through it. We tried to come back, but there's not a whole lot you can do.
beginning grown leaders people player point stepped stuff sure time tough
At the beginning of the year, I'm not sure how many people thought he'd do the stuff he's done for us. But he's really grown as a player and point guard. He's become one of the leaders on this team, even at such a young age. He's stepped up for us time after time in tough situations.
basketball catching college start time trying yelling
One time he was yelling at his teammates, 'Pass me the ball. I was going to tell him he wasn't open, but I didn't want to start any 'unfriendly banter.' I was just doing my thing, trying to keep him from catching the ball. There were times he was frustrated, but that's the way college basketball goes.
