The igniter of this whole thing was Katrina Chapman. She's a freshman junior varsity player, who's been playing varsity. She hit back-to-back threes and we were on our way.

I thought we would be okay if we stayed within striking distance in the first quarter and we did. We were able to take the lead in the second half. This will be such a great learning experience for the younger girls on the team.

We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

We knew who the scorers were, but the other players contributed greatly, which is a huge plus for them. We didn't rebound as well as we could. It was a matter of us not attacking the bucket on a shot. It's something we have to commit to improving.
