conference last tasted tastes title
(The) last conference title (we won) was two years before I got here. I hadn't tasted it yet, but you know what, it tastes pretty good.

Our kids showed a lot of character. Things weren't going right in the first half. They decided at halftime that we were going to get back into this game. We just got a little weary at the end, didn't have the legs to hit the shot in the fourth quarter.
champions deserve five great guys plus proud team
We are the champions because we have great players. They deserve the recognition. I am very proud we put five guys on all-conference (first team and all-conference). That's a big plus for us.
bouncing credit deep dug good happen hole kids
We dug such a deep hole for ourselves, it just wasn't a good first half. Everything went their way, and they made it happen that way. They were very aggressive. Give our kids credit for bouncing back.
adversity everybody guys knows nobody outside overcome speculate support tougher
We have had adversity all the way through, and our guys are tougher because they have had overcome some things. Everybody can speculate on the outside what is going on in the inside, but nobody knows but us. We keep it there. We know as a family, and we support each other.
