Michael Francis Shermanis an American football coach and former player. He currently is coach at Nauset Regional High School in Eastham, Massachusetts. Sherman was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers from 2000 to 2005. Sherman led the Packers to five consecutive winning seasons from 2000–04 and three divisional titles in 2002, 2003, and 2004. I wished he could have played in the last ball game, he didn't feel that having been in the courthouse he was ready to play, he had missed three practices, so I didn't feel I wanted to put him out there at risk. But I felt in the first three games, he had opportunities to carry the football.

I can't think of a bye week we went into healthy, ... I think organizationally, we take full advantage of the bye. The philosophy whether we're going into the bye winning or losing, I've kept the same philosophy - how many days we're going to work with the players, the coaches' schedule, our research analysis, the changes we need to make.
