We didn't come into it this is going to sound bad to win it, to beat Snider. They're a top-eight team in the state. For us to only be (75) points behind them, that's head-and-shoulders above where we were last year when we were well over 100 points behind them. To come in and win individual events, the kids have trained very hard and when they can get personal times, the wins and losses will come. Our goals are best times and state cuts.

We never looked at aerial or ownership maps. I do that on purpose because I don't want to know. I don't want to be influenced.

We knew we were going to have major problems stopping Mitchell. We had two girls on her, but we don't have two that are as big and strong and as athletic.
